Facts
The plaintiffs filed an action in the High Court of Justice, Akwa Ibom State claiming from the defendants “the payment to them of their share of certain compensation/claims money being the sum of N442,800.00." As an interim measure the plaintiffs brought an application for an order that the defendants pay the sum into the Court pending the determination of the substantive case. The learned trial Judge granted the application.
Aggrieved the defendants appealed.
